Austrian Australian Club Canberra

Keeping Austrian tradition alive

The Austrian Australian Club offers an opportunity to keep the Austrian culture and heritage alive and introduce it to the broader community in Canberra. Originating from a group of Austrians meeting to preserve their culture, make friends and share interests, the Club became a formal entity in 1970, providing bar and entertainment facilities seven days a week and a restaurant which is open for lunch Thursdays and Fridays and for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday.

Austrian Choir

Keeping Austrian musical tradition alive

(Conductor: Dr Günter Brandstetter)

The Austrian Choir Canberra, formed in 1981, is fortunate to have a number of talented singers and musicians which enables it to present three formal concerts a year as well as perform for many other events. The choir rehearses one evening a week at the Austrian Australian Club and always welcomes new singers! (Check with the choir for rehearsal times.)
